How to log a missed activity

A missed activity is something you had to skip, cancel or cut short because of your spins. A drive you could not make, a shift you missed, a family event you left early. These entries show, to you and your doctor, how much vertigo takes from your life.

The quick way

  1. Tap the Log tab.
  2. In Quick Log, tap the Missed half of the bottom card (What you didn't). A screen titled Quick Missed opens.
  3. Tap what you missed.
  4. Set the time and add a note if you like.
  5. Tap Log Missed.

If you have not logged a spin that day, the app asks Why did you skip …? with No spin today, so tell us what stopped you. Optional. You can pick a trigger or warning sign, or write it in your own words. Tap Done. This helps show when you stay home to avoid a spin, not only because of one.

As part of a spin

In the full Log Spin guide, the Missed activities step (What did you have to skip or postpone?) comes after Postdrome and before Notes.

In the Daily Check-In

The page Anything you didn't do? lets you tap anything you skipped or cancelled today.

If it is not in the list

Tap the gear icon, then Manage Items, then Missed Activities, and add it.

Why this matters

Doctors, employers and benefit forms often ask how much your condition stops you doing. Regular, honest missed-activity entries make that conversation much easier. There is no need to feel guilty about logging many.
