Spins can be hard to time while you are in one. VertigoMe can time a spin for you while you keep still.
These steps are the same on iPhone and Android.
Starting the timer from Home
- On Home, tap Spin in the Quick log row.
- A screen opens saying Spin in progress, with the time it started and a running clock.
- The spin is already saved. You can leave this screen open, or close it with the X. Timing carries on in the background.
From this screen you can also tap Do a guided exercise to run an Epley, Semont or BBQ roll manoeuvre. It attaches to this spin automatically. Exercises are part of Premium.
Ending the spin
- Tap End spin when it passes.
- The screen says Spin ended. Tap Add details to open the full log, or Skip to add them later from the Journal.
If you started it by mistake, tap Discard. You will be asked to confirm, because this deletes the spin.
The Spin in progress card on Home
While a spin is open, Home shows a Spin in progress card in place of the Quick log row, with the start time.
- The round buttons add things to the running spin with the time set to now, such as Medicine, Relief or a symptom. More shows the rest.
- Full log opens the full guide for this spin.
- End now ends the spin.
If you have more than one open entry, small arrows let you move between them.
Timing inside the full log
On the first step of Log Spin there is also a timer. Tap Begin spin when it starts and End spin when it stops. The duration is saved with your log.
Reminders for open spins
If you forget to end a spin, VertigoMe can remind you. In Data and Notifications, the Ongoing spin reminder lets you choose how often, or turn it off.
