You can set a new password by email in a couple of minutes. This guide walks you through it, simplest fix first.
The steps are the same on iPhone and Android.
Step 1: Use "Forgot password?"
- Open VertigoMe.
- On the sign-in screen, tap Continue with email.
- Tap Forgot password?. It sits under the Password box, just above the Sign in button.
- The Reset password screen opens. Type your email address.
- Tap Send link.
- The screen changes to Email sent.
Open your email app. The email usually arrives within a minute or two. Tap the link inside, choose a new password on the page that opens, then sign in to VertigoMe with it.
Step 2: Check your spam or junk folder
If the email is not in your inbox after five minutes:
- Open your email app.
- Look in Spam, Junk or Promotions.
- Look for an email from VertigoMe or from a "noreply" address.
- Mark it as Not spam if you like, then open it and tap the reset link.
Step 3: Try the way you signed up
If you first signed up with Apple, Google or Facebook, you have no VertigoMe password, so a reset will not help. On the sign-in screen, try each in turn:
- Sign in with Apple (iPhone only)
- Continue with Google
- Continue with Facebook
If one of them takes you straight in, that is the way you signed up. Keep using it.
Step 4: Ask for a fresh link
Reset links only work for a limited time. If your email is old, ask for a new one using Step 1, and use the newest email.
Step 5: Check which email you used
If you have a personal and a work address, try the reset with each one.
Already signed in?
If you are signed in and just want to change your password, tap the gear icon, then Profile, then Change Password. VertigoMe sends a reset link to your email.
