If you want Premium after your free trial, you can subscribe. This article shows the plans and the steps on each phone.
The only free period is the 14-day trial every new account gets. Subscribing is a real purchase, and the first charge happens straight away when you confirm it with Apple or Google.
The two plans
The features are the same in both. Only how often you pay is different.
- Yearly. You pay once a year. It costs less per month and carries a BEST VALUE label.
- Monthly. You pay every month.
The prices on the screen come live from the App Store or Play Store, in your own currency. What you see there is what you pay.
How to subscribe
The steps are the same on iPhone and Android.
- Open VertigoMe.
- Tap the gear icon at the top left, then Profile.
- On the card under your name, tap Upgrade. You can also tap any locked feature, or the trial banner on the Home screen.
- The VertigoMe Premium screen opens. Tap the Monthly or Yearly box. Tapping the box starts the purchase.
- Apple or Google shows its own confirmation. On iPhone it may ask for Face ID, Touch ID or your Apple ID password. On Android, Google Play shows the price and a Subscribe button.
- When the store confirms, a message says Welcome to Premium. Tap Great.
On iPhone the charge goes to the payment method on your Apple ID. On Android it goes to the payment method on your Google account. You never type a card number into VertigoMe.
If the plans do not show
If the screen says Plans unavailable right now, the app could not load the plans from the store. Check your connection and tap Try again. If it keeps happening, email [email protected].
The subscription renews on its own
Like all phone subscriptions, it renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period. The note at the bottom of the Premium screen says this too.
Your receipt
Apple and Google email you a receipt. VertigoMe does not send its own, because we never see your card.
If the payment does not go through
If the store says the payment failed:
- Check the card on your Apple ID or Google account has not expired.
- Try again in a few minutes.
- If it still fails, contact Apple Support or Google Play Support. They handle the card side.
If the payment worked but Premium did not turn on:
- Close the app and open it again.
- Open the Premium screen and tap Restore purchases near the bottom. See Restoring a purchase.
- If that does not help, email [email protected].
Cancelling
You can cancel whenever you like. Premium stays on until the end of the period you paid for. See Cancelling your subscription (iPhone) or Cancelling your subscription (Android).
