You do not have to pay to use VertigoMe. The most important part of the app, keeping a record of your spins, stays free. This article explains what you get without paying anything.
Free, forever
- Logging spins. Log as many spins as you like. Tap Spin on the Home screen to start the timer the moment one begins, or use Log Spin on the Log tab for the full step by step entry.
- Quick logging. The Quick log strip on Home and the Quick Log grid on the Log tab log a single trigger, prodrome, medicine or relief in one tap.
- The Daily Check-In. The short evening review on the Log tab.
- Food logging. Search or scan what you ate from the Food card on the Log tab. Your sodium total in milligrams stays free.
- Today's risk gauge. The gauge on the Home screen shows today's level for free.
- Your data. Everything you log is kept in your account. Nothing is deleted because you are on the free plan.
- Connections. Apple Health on iPhone, Health Connect on Android, and WHOOP, Oura, Polar and Garmin all connect for free.
- Community. Articles, the Forum and Blogs behind the people icon at the top right.
What is limited on the free plan
- Journal history. The free plan shows your last 7 days in the Journal, without search or filters. Older entries are kept safely and come back when you have Premium.
- Insights. The deeper sections of the Insights tab (AI Recommendations, Accuracy, Pattern Analysis, Treatment Analysis, What Strengthens You, What Changed, Context Analysis and Impact Analysis) are Premium.
- 7-day outlook. Free shows today. Premium adds the next six days and the breakdown of which triggers are driving your risk.
- Guided exercises. The vestibular exercise library, gaze training and the eye recorder are Premium.
- Questionnaires. The DHI, VSS-SF and hearing questionnaires on the Profile screen are Premium.
- AI features. The Ask VertigoMe chat and the daily AI insight card are Premium.
- Monitor trends. The Monitor tab shows your current day for free. The history graphs and the 7-day weather forecast card are Premium.
- Food risk flags. The tyramine, histamine, gluten, alcohol and additive flags on your food are Premium.
- Goals and Treatments. The Goals and Treatments cards on the Monitor tab are Premium.
- The Full Report PDF for your ENT or neurologist is Premium.
- Sharing your diary with a practitioner is Premium. Booking an intro call with one is free.
How to tell what is locked
A Premium feature shows a small lock, or is covered with a short "Unlock" message. Tapping it opens the VertigoMe Premium screen. You can always close that screen with the X at the top right without paying.
The app does not show advertisements.
You get a 14-day free trial of Premium
Every new account starts with 14 days of Premium for free. No card is needed. After 14 days the app goes back to the free version unless you choose to subscribe. Nothing is deleted.
