Sometimes VertigoMe gives out promo codes, for example in a support reply or through a partner. A code gives you Premium for a set number of days.
What a promo code does
A VertigoMe promo code adds free days of Premium to your account. It does not charge anything and it does not change an existing subscription. When the days run out, the app goes back to the free version, just like at the end of a trial.
On Android
- Tap the gear icon at the top left, then Profile.
- On the card under your name, tap Upgrade.
- Scroll down and tap Have a promo code?
- Type or paste your code into the Promo code box. Letters become capitals on their own.
- Tap Redeem.
- If the code works, a message says Code redeemed and how many days of Premium were added.
The days are added on top of any trial or code days you still had. For example, 3 days of trial left plus a 30-day code gives you 33 days.
On iPhone
On iPhone the same screen has a Redeem a promo code button. It opens Apple's own code sheet, which takes App Store offer codes. When Apple accepts the code, Premium turns on in the app when you come back to it.
If support gave you a code and Apple's sheet does not accept it, email [email protected] and say you are on iPhone. We will sort out the right kind of code.
If the code does not work (Android)
The message tells you why. For example:
- "This promo code doesn't exist." Check the spelling. The letter O and the number 0 look alike.
- "This promo code has expired." The code was only valid for a limited time.
- "You've already used this promo code." Each code works once per account.
- "This promo code has reached its usage limit." All the uses have been taken.
Also check for an extra space at the start or end, and check your internet connection.

Gift cards from Apple or Google
A store gift card is redeemed in the store itself:
- iPhone: App Store → your profile picture → Redeem Gift Card or Code.
- Android: Play Store → your profile picture → Payments and subscriptions → Redeem code.
