On Android you cancel VertigoMe Premium in the Play Store app, not inside VertigoMe.
Before you start
- You keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for. After that the app goes back to the free version.
- Your data is safe. Nothing you logged is deleted.
- The free trial needs no cancelling. It has no payment attached. These steps are only for a paid subscription.
Steps
- Open the Play Store app.
- Tap your profile picture at the top right.
- Tap Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap VertigoMe. If it is not there, see the section on Google accounts below.
- Tap Cancel subscription.
- Google may ask why. Pick a reason or skip.
- Tap Cancel subscription again to confirm.
The screen now shows the end date. Premium stays on until then.
To check it really cancelled
Play Store → profile picture → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → VertigoMe. It should say it expires on a date, not that it renews.
Signed in with the wrong Google account
If VertigoMe is not in your list, you may have paid with another Google account. In the Play Store profile menu, tap the arrow next to your email, switch account, and look again.
Changing your mind
Before the end date: Play Store → profile picture → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → VertigoMe → Resubscribe.
After the end date, subscribe again inside VertigoMe: gear icon → Profile → Upgrade.
Asking for a refund
Cancelling stops future charges. It does not refund past ones. Refunds on Android are decided by Google:
- Go to play.google.com in a web browser and sign in.
- Open your Order history.
- Find the VertigoMe charge and choose Report a problem, then request a refund.
If something looks wrong
- Still charged after cancelling. Check the charge date. If a new charge comes after the end date, email [email protected] with the date and amount.
- Cancelled by accident. Tap Resubscribe before the end date.
- Play Store is stuck. Close it fully and open it again, or restart the phone.
