Switching phones (iPhone to Android or the other way)

Your VertigoMe data lives in your account, not on your old phone. As long as you sign in the same way on the new phone, it is all there.

One thing to check before moving to Android

Android has no Sign in with Apple button. If your account uses Apple sign-in and you are moving to Android, email [email protected] before you switch. We will help move the account to an email sign-in so nothing is lost.

Save your eye recordings first

Eye recordings are kept on the phone, not in your account. Before you switch, open the ones you want to keep and share or save them. See Where your eye recordings are kept.

On the new phone

  1. Install VertigoMe from the App Store or Play Store.
  2. Open it.
  3. Sign in the same way as before:
  1. Do not create a new account.

The first time you sign in on a phone, a Your health data screen appears once. Tick the box and tap Continue. Not now signs you out again.

Your history appears after you sign in.

Wearables and health platforms

WHOOP, Oura, Polar and Garmin are linked to your account, so they usually keep syncing. If one shows as not connected, open the gear icon → Connections and connect it again.

Apple Health and Health Connect live on the phone itself:

Your past data stays either way.

Premium

Premium is linked to your VertigoMe account, so it normally shows on the new phone once you sign in, even when you move between iPhone and Android. If it does not, open the Premium screen and tap Restore purchases, or email [email protected]. You still manage or cancel the subscription in the store you bought it from: the App Store for an iPhone purchase, the Play Store for an Android one.

The old phone

Sign out so nobody else can see your data: gear icon → Logout. Or delete the app.
