If you tracked your dizziness somewhere else, in another app, a spreadsheet or typed-up notes, you can bring that history into VertigoMe.
How it works
- In your old app, export your data. Most trackers have a CSV or spreadsheet export in their settings.
- In VertigoMe, tap the gear icon at the top left, then Import history.
- Tap Choose file and pick your export. A CSV, a spreadsheet saved as CSV, or plain notes all work. Keep it under 6 MB.
- VertigoMe reads the file. A big file takes about a minute.
- You see Here's what we found and Nothing is saved yet.
- Check the results. Check the spins and days lets you change or remove any spin. What we assumed shows how the app read your file, and How we read your words puts your labels next to ours.
- Tap the Import button at the bottom. It shows how many spins will be saved.
Spins you already logged
If your file has spins dated after you started using VertigoMe, the app tells you. By default they are skipped so nothing is counted twice. Tap Import them too if they are not already in your Journal.
Removing an import
Your past imports are listed under Your imports on the same screen. Tap Remove, then confirm. Everything that import added is deleted. Things you logged yourself stay.
What imported history does
Your old spins appear in your Journal and your reports, so you and your ENT or neurologist can see the whole picture.
Whether they also count in the app's analysis depends on your plan:
- Free and during the trial: imported history goes into your journal only.
- Paid subscribers: under Use for insights you can tick which kinds of imported data count in your insights, triggers, medicines and patterns. The app suggests what to count, and you can change any tick.
If the file will not read
If the app says the file could not be read, export it again as CSV and keep it under 6 MB. If you are still stuck, email the file to [email protected] from the address on your account and we will help.
