What the recalibration banner means

Now and then a banner appears near the top of Home saying VertigoMe has suggestions for you, with the line Based on your recent data, we have some recommendations to improve your setup.

This is the recalibration banner. It is the app saying: "I have been looking at your data, and I think I can do a slightly better job for you. Would you like to see?" It is only an invitation.

What recalibration means

The app uses your data to estimate what raises your risk of a spin. Once a week, VertigoMe looks back at what you have logged and, if something has genuinely shifted, prepares a short list of suggestions. For example, a trigger that seems to matter more or less for you, or moving the lines on your risk gauge.

Nothing changes without your say-so.

Recalibration is part of Premium and runs for people on the trial or a subscription.

When does it appear?

What happens when you tap it

  1. Tap the banner. The Your recalibration screen opens.
  2. Each suggestion is explained in plain words. Tick what you want to keep. Accept all and Reject all are at the top.
  3. Tap the apply button at the bottom, for example Apply 3 changes.

VertigoMe never lowers the rating of a trigger or warning sign you have set yourself. If a suggestion would do that, a Severity guard note explains it will be skipped.

If you close the screen without applying, nothing changes.

If there is nothing to show

If you see No learning this week, there was not enough data yet. Keep logging your spins, warning signs, medicines and triggers.

If the screen says Calibration unavailable, your settings are unchanged. Tap Try again in a moment. If it keeps happening, write to [email protected].
