Two cards on Home are made for vestibular conditions where air pressure and salt can matter, such as Meniere's disease. Both sit near the top of the screen.
Barometric pressure alert
When the average air pressure where you are has dropped by 10 hPa or more since yesterday, an orange card appears titled Barometric pressure alert. It shows yesterday's and today's pressure, for example 1018 hPa yesterday → 1006 hPa today, and a short suggestion.
- It needs your location (city level only) so VertigoMe can fetch the weather.
- On days without a big drop, the card does not appear.
- It is a heads-up, not a forecast that you will have a spin.
Sodium today
This card adds up the sodium in the foods you have logged today, for example 820 mg.
- The total is free.
- With Premium or during your trial, the card also shows a coloured bar and a line such as 680 mg left today, measured against a daily target of 1500 mg, often suggested for Meniere's disease. Above 2000 mg it shows how far over you are.
- On the free plan, that part shows a padlock and Food Risk Analysis. Tapping it opens the subscription screen.
- Tap the card to open the food screen, where you can search for or scan what you ate.
The target is the same for everyone. If your ENT or dietitian has given you a different target, follow theirs.
The card only knows about food you log. If you have not logged anything today, it shows 0 mg.
Hiding these cards
If these cards are not useful to you, scroll to the bottom of Home and tap Customize home. Switch off Pressure alert or Sodium today. You can switch them back on at any time.
