Reading the Top contributors card

Below the risk gauge on Home, after the Ask VertigoMe card and the daily insight, there is a card called Top contributors. It answers the question "what is making today the colour it is?"

The card is part of Premium. On the free plan it shows behind an Unlock trigger breakdown message with a count, such as 2 triggers driving your risk today. Tapping it opens the subscription screen.

These steps are the same on iPhone and Android.

What it shows

Up to three rows, the three things pushing hardest on your bucket today. Each row has:

  1. The name of the trigger or warning sign, for example "Sleep duration low", "High sodium meal" or "Ear fullness".
  2. A small severity tag on the right: HIGH (red), MILD (amber) or LOW (green). This is how strongly that item is rated for you.
  3. A thin bar showing how much it is adding compared with a full bucket.
  4. A small line such as 40% of risk · 4 pts · 2 days active. You can ignore the numbers. The short version is: this item is part of why today looks the way it does, and it has been around for that many days.

If nothing is contributing, the card does not appear at all. That is a good sign.

Why it changes day to day

The card is not a fixed list. It only shows what is active now. Poor sleep may appear today and be gone tomorrow. A pressure drop may show for a day or two.

Seeing everything

Tap the card, or tap the gauge, to open Risk detail. It lists every contributor in order, not only the top three.

Changing how much an item counts

The severity tag comes from your setup, your own edits or recalibration changes you accepted. To change it, open the gear icon, tap Manage Items, open the list (for example Triggers) and change that item's rating.

If the card looks wrong

  1. A new account has little data. Give it some time.
  2. Without a watch, ring or food log, there is less information to work with.
  3. Pull down on Home to refresh.

If it still feels wrong, please write to [email protected]. The card is VertigoMe's best reading of your logs. You know your body best.
