What we share, and with whom

VertigoMe does not sell your data. Not to advertisers, insurers, data brokers or anyone else. Your data is not used for advertising.

How your data is stored

Your data is stored with Supabase, on servers in the European Union. It is:

Your rows are locked to your own account inside the database.

Who can see your data

Only you can see your full diary. The VertigoMe team can technically open the database to fix problems or help with support, but nobody reads your spins in normal use.

When you post in the Forum, other members see your post, your display name and your profile picture. Your spins, triggers and email stay private.

Sharing with a practitioner, if you choose

Nothing goes to a practitioner unless you set it up. Under Community → Guidance you choose which parts of your diary a practitioner may see, group by group. They see only what you allowed, read-only, and you can tap Stop sharing at any time. See Sharing your diary with a practitioner.

The AI features

The Ask VertigoMe chat, the daily insight, and spin logging by voice or free text use OpenAI. For the chat, your question goes with recent data from your account. For the daily insight, only summarised health values are sent, never your name or email. OpenAI states that data sent through its API is not used to train its models.

Services that help run the app

Each only gets what it needs to do its part.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how it is used, by writing to [email protected]. We answer within one month.
