What Happened is a Premium feature in the Insights tab ("Triggers, patterns & dangerous combinations behind your spins"). It shows the factors that line up with your spins, and pairs of factors that look risky together.
For many people one thing alone does not bring on a spin, but two together might, like a salty meal and poor sleep. This screen is built to find those pairs.
Where to find it
- Tap the Insights tab.
- Find the What Happened card.
- On the free plan it is locked behind Unlock Pattern Analysis.
- With Premium, tap the card.
What you will see
- Patterns. Single triggers, prodromes and daily metrics (sleep, pressure, HRV and so on) that show up most around your spins, with how many days before the spin they tend to appear.
- Combinations. Pairs that look riskier together than apart.
- Trigger and symptom links. Which symptoms tend to follow a given trigger.
The numbers on each finding
Each finding shows one of two things:
- "About X times as likely." How much more often the factor appears around your spins than on your normal days. The app only shows this when it can compare fairly.
- "Seen before". For things you only log now and then, the app shows how many of your spins it appeared in. That tells you what your spins have in common, not that it raises your risk.
Up to three dots show how strong the statistical signal is. Weak links that do not pass the check are hidden.
How to use it
- Read the top combination. Does it sound familiar?
- If it does, try breaking it for a few weeks. For example, keep salt down on days after a poor night.
- Come back later and see whether it has weakened.
If there are no patterns yet
Patterns need more data than other screens, because the app refuses to show links it cannot back up. Keep logging spins, triggers and context, and give it a few more weeks.
Patterns are clues, not causes. The strongest ones also appear in the Full Report PDF, so you can discuss them with your ENT or neurologist.
