The basics

What to do if your app is not in the list

The apps in this help centre are the ones we have checked. Many more work, because VertigoMe reads from your phone's health hub, not from the apps themselves. If your app can send its data to Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android), VertigoMe can usually read it.

VertigoMe reads these types from the hub: sleep, heart rate, resting heart rate, HRV, blood oxygen, respiratory rate, body temperature, steps, workouts, weight, body fat, blood pressure, blood glucose, food and periods. If your app only records something else, VertigoMe will not pick it up.

On iPhone

Step 1: Check your app writes to Apple Health

  1. Open your app and look in its settings for Apple Health.
  2. Turn it on. Tap Turn On All when asked, then Allow.
  3. Open the Health app, tap Browse, and check the data is there.

Step 2: Make sure VertigoMe reads it

  1. In VertigoMe, connect Apple Health under the gear icon, Connections.
  2. Then open Data and Notifications from the same drawer and check the matching row is switched on.
  3. For food and periods, also tap the row's source badge and choose Apple Health.

On Android

Step 1: Check your app writes to Health Connect

  1. Open your app and look in its settings for Health Connect.
  2. Tap Connect, then Allow.
  3. Open Health Connect and check the data is there.

Step 2: Make sure VertigoMe reads it

  1. In VertigoMe, connect Health Connect under the gear icon, Connections.
  2. Then open Data and Notifications and check the matching row is switched on.
  3. For food and periods, also tap the row's source badge and choose Health Connect.

If your app still uses Google Fit only, check the Play Store for an update. Google Fit is not read by VertigoMe.
